AD Bison Burgers

Ingredients
  • Bison Meat
  • Minced Garlic
  • Chopped Onion
  • S & P
  • Garlic Powder
  • McCormick Cajun Seasoning
  • McCormick Steakhouse Grinder
  • I added American Cheese. You can add any kind of cheese you would like, or none at all.
    • I put some of the chopped onions on the burger along with ketchup, mustard and lettuce. Use any condiments you would like.

I first had bison meat a couple years ago when a friend of mine had an "exotic meat party", it was just like it sounds, nothing sexual. lol. It is really a tasty alternative to ground beef or ground poultry. You can find bison meat in most grocery stores. Just ask if you cannot find it.

First put a pan on the stove and get it very very hot. You can also cook these on a grill. Just make sure the surface you are cooking on is very very hot. This seals in the juice and keeps the burgers from drying out.

Take the meat out of the package and transfer it to a bowl big enough to fit all the meat along with the minced garlic and chopped onions.

Add the remaining ingredients and combine.

Once the ingredients are combined form into burger patties. I made 4 patties out of the lb of bison. You can make anywhere from 2-6.

Put the burgers in the pan and leave alone for a min or two. Flip over and repeat. This will seal in all of the juices and keep the burgers moist.

Flip the burgers over again and turn the heat down on the stove to medium high. Cook until desired doneness.

Add cheese to the burgers and let melt off the heat. Cover pan to help the cheese melt.

Once the cheese is melted put on a toasted bun and add condiments. Enjoy.

Bon Appetit Bitches!!!!
